Flowers in bloom in London just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The Holly Man braved the wind and rain to celebrate Twelfth Night in front of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre today.

Watching the buskers in Covent Garden–Unicycle Juggler was a hit, but the Christmas Tree stole the spotlight.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a pic. Mainly because life gets busy, but perhaps it’s the weather. Indian summer, rainy sunny cloudy days. They confuse the natural human rhythms. But then you come across something like this in east London and the pic must be posted!

Hamptead Heath Ponds

Every picture of the Heath is a painting, and this one of Hampstead’s No 1 Pond is no different. It aches to be set on canvas. An end of summer project perhaps? Whenever I’m feeling too closed in from living in the city, a walk on the Heath sets me straight. Quacking ducks, barking dogs, rustling leaves, and — if you’re lucky — a bit of sun gives this spot of nature in the midst of London the power to mend a tired soul.
